J.O TRANSPORT DELIVERING THE GOODS FOR OVER HALF A CENTURY |

| 1968 - J.O. Transport was established with the aim of providing local industry with an efficient and economical delivery service. The mainstay of the Obertelli fleet were flat bed vehicles in all sizes, available to travel up and down the relatively new motorway network delivering to the whole of the UK. The business was a success and as a result of increased customer demand driven by excellent service the business expanded rapidly. The company moved from it’s original Breightmet location to its current site in 1973 and continued to expand as the local economic community flourished. The 1980's saw the company move with the times and curtainsided trailers and rigid vehicles were introduced. Flat trailers were soon to become a thing of the past, although the company retains a number of flat trailers for specialist movements. In 1999 the company ownership transferred to the current generation when James and John bought the company from the companys’ founder, Jim Obertelli. In 2007 James became the sole owner of the company .In 2006 JO Transport won depot of the year in the Pallet-Track annual awards. |
